The Technology Committee serves as an advisory group to the SCLC Administrative Council on library technology policies and practices; provides leadership in technology and data management and incorporates best practices throughout the cooperative; and helps manage and implement SCLC regional technology projects.

The Committee:

• Serves as a forum for the discussion of issues, concerns, and trends related to technical services and library related technology;
• Holds a workshop on library automation/technical services;
• Holds one or two structured exchanges on topics of importance to technical services and one or two structured exchanges on automation and library related technology.
